SCSN 19 - Sunday Report

Sunday action at SCSN 19 in Las Vegas saw Pacific Northwest racers claim multiple titles, including Pro Modified being won by a proud WCPM member.

The semifinals of Pro Mod action saw Rian Hayward and Garrett Richards both advance, setting up the all Washington final round. Hayward had lane choice in the final and used the left lane to run a 3.826 to beat Garrett Richards and his 3.909. Congrats to to Rian Hayward for picking up his first SCSN Pro Mod win, after winning SCSN 18 in Outlaw 10.5.

A huge congratulations also goes out to BC’s Justin Gallant who will be bringing the x275 win back north of the border - for the second consecutive year. He beat fellow PNW racer Chris Brenton and his fan favourite Chevy II. Gallant almost doubled up at SCSN 19, as he made the final round in Xtreme Drag Radial as well, where he finished as the runner up losing to Jeff Young.

In Virginia, WCPM member Scott Blake played spoiler in Round 1, knocking off number two qualifer Jim Halsey - to help Tommy Franklin clinch the Pro Nitrous championship. Blake was unfortunately knocked out in Round 2 of competition.
