Qlispé Raceway Park - Saturday Recap

The first WCPM race at Qlispé Raceway Park did not disappoint, with close racing throughout eliminations and a true David vs Goliath final round.

In Round 1 Ryan Griffin received a bye, Steve Goddard beat Albertan Rick Barnhart in the all-Alberta matchup, Garrett Richards defeated fellow championship contender Scott Blake and Shane Molinari beating Art Raz.

Round 2 saw the first major upset, with number one qualifier Ryan Griffin losing to Steve Goddard, while Garrett Richards beat former NHRA Pro Mod racer Shane Molinari.

In the final round, Garrett Richards continued his bracket like consistency with a 3.92 pass to pick up his third win of the season and extend his 2024 championship points lead.

Next up the West Coast Pro Modifieds travel back north of the border, for Hot August Night on Wednesday, August 14th at Rad Torque Raceway.
