Three cars remained heading into Round 3 of eliminations on Sunday at Rad Torque Raceway, with Scott Blake and Garrett Richards facing off in the one semi final, while Ryan Griffin had a bye in the other semi final.

In the semis Scott Blake’s 3.845 at 190.60 MPH was able to knock off current WCPM points leader Garrett Richards’ 3.940, setting up an Alberta vs Washington final round, while Griffin had issues and coasted to a 4.373.

Blake, with lane choice, put Ryan Griffin into the left lane where had Blake had previously shook the tires, however, Ryan Griffin posted yet another 3.90 run to go 3.913 at 196.42 MPH to knock off Scott Blake’s 4.091.

The victory marks the first win with the West Coast Pro Modifieds for the RGR team.

Next up for the WCPM, the series shifts back south of the border to the Night of Fire at Woodburn, Oregon from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28.
