West Coast Outlaw Shootout - Saturday Report

Saturday’s eliminations at Mission Raceway Park were full of close races with some big upsets mixed in between.

In Round 1 of eliminations, Ryan Griffin ran 3.865 @ 200.45 MPH to get bye Keith Korecki, Garrett Richards advanced over Jake Skocylas, Steve Horne knocked off Nick Duda, Steve Goddard beat Steve Nicholson, Dave Kowalski beat Rian Hayward and Scott Blake took the bye.

Round 2 of eliminations saw number one qualifier Scott Blake unable to make the call again Steve Goddard, giving the win to Goddard, while Dave Kowalski was also unable to make the call against Garrett Richards, giving the win the Richards, with Steve Horne beating Ryan Griffin in the last pairing.

In Round 3 of eliminations Steve Horne got passed Steve Goddard, and Garrett Richards ran his best pass of the weekend, a 3.779 @ 199.38 MPH.

In the finals, Garrett Richards continued his bracket like consistency with a 3.828 @ 193.38 MPH pass to secure another win further stretch his massive points lead.

Next up is the last race of the season for the WCPM, as the series heads south to the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas, from November 21 to November 24.
