Congratulations to Dean Bettenson on his second win in as many races, as Dean knocked off nitrous competitor Steve Goddard in Sunday’s final.

Dean beat Geordie Castle in Round 1 and Tom Reithmayer in Round 2 to make the final from the #1 qualifier position, while Steve Goddard beat Manitoba racer Alan Hiebert in Round 1 and Edmonton local Wade Sjostrom in Round 2.

In the final Dean Bettenson continued his streak of three second passes with a 3.96 at 188 MPH to defeat Steve Goddard’s 4.16.
