Rocky Mountain Nationals - Friday Report

10 West Coast Pro Modifieds made the trip to Edmonton for the 20th anniversary of Rad Torque Raceway’s Rocky Mountain Nationals, the first promotional points event of the 2023 season.

As it is a promo points race cars receive 10 points each time they make a run during any official WCPM session, however, he current plan is for an 8 car qualified field with eliminations on Sunday. Each run a car makes in qualifying or eliminations will earn that car 10 points towards the season long championship and no points being given out for any WCPM or track record.

All ten cars made qualifying laps on Friday night, with the current qualifying order as follows:

Jordie Lazic - 3.888 @ 194.89 MPH
Garrett Richards - 3.953 @ 183.60 MPH
Steve Horne - 3.966 @ 180.51 MPH
Steve Goddard - 4.105 @ 175.51 MPH
